Why did I do this?????

Why did I feel so compelled to go Bridesave to look up my dress only to find out there are a ton of chiffon styles by Maggie for spring 05!!!!!! When I was looking there were only 3 and now there is 12!!!!I am in love with at least 5 of them and now my dress looks so dated to me Why did I do this!!!!!

I think all of us at some point think if we found the right gown, but I am sure once you put it on on your wedding day you will look and feel like a princess...

Your dress is fabulous on you. You love it and you picked it for that reason. Don't second guess.

Your gown is beautiful...just remember how many dresses you tried on that you DIDN'T like! Remember that you're just seeing a picture. You tried your dress on, loved it and bought it...don't second guess and stop looking! lol

Chris... don't even look. You found the one and you know it... WHY? I'll explain...

I tried on 74 dresses... yes, I'm a crazy person I counted, before I found my Maggie. I had a very fixed budget and thought I knew what I wanted but after 74 I kept running into the same dresses... kinda like my past dating life It took me 33 years to find David so what made everyone think I was going to fall in love with one of the first dresses?

OK, did I make you laugh now. When you were looking how many dresses did you fall in love with on the hanger but when you tried them on they did nothing for you? (Again, kinda like dating, back in the day how many guys did you think were cute and then you had a conversation with them and... oh, well... back to the drawing board... next )

I thought I wanted a very plain dress but with a long detailed train. Very hard to find. So I dated... I mean tried on a LOT of plain dresses. Well, no dress/man was really doing it for me. Then Geri at Lillette's suggested I try on a lace Maggie (I tried speeddating... ) and well I knew that was the dress because I had an emotional reaction (I met David).

On the surface the Maggie looked like some other dresses and David, on the surface, seems like other nice guys but it/he isn't like every other dress/guy out there. They are both made for me!!!

Does that make sense? OK, lecture over. Stop looking

Your dress is gorgeous!! I personally didnt really like any of the new Maggies.. THANK GOD! I still have this feeling deep down inside that I am going to wind up with a dress other than the one I ordered

don't look at other gowns, yours is beautiful & that is why you picked it out. STOP LOOKING, don't look on the internet, in magazines, etc.

I agree that it is natural. Lately, I think I hate my dress. From what I have heard from friends who have gotten married, everyone goes through a 'I hate my dress' phase. Hang in there! Your dress is gorgeous and you will be a beautiful bride.

Alright....you found your dress, the beautiful wonderful dress that is only for you....Just say that the others are probably hideously ugly off the rack and that you would feel frumpy or somethig along those liness....

Sometimes when I see pics of other dresses I wonder if I made the right choice, but then I go try it on again - And I realize I made the right choice!

I'm going throught an 'I hate my dress' stage as well and have been back and forth about getting another one. I'll join the band-wagon and say stop looking at other dresses, but I know how hard that is. I can't seem to stop.

but a bride told me the smae thing KD is saying - you picked yr dress for a reason

I went and looked at my dress after my freak out and I DO love it! I guess I went through this too when I met FH! After 35 years, I realized I was giving up my freedom and my old life looked great to me for a little while I'm over it! Thanks!
