i picked low ones because i'm a simple girl and i personally agree with your fh in most cases (although i actually HATE the word tacky, and only really mean 'not for me'.) i'm probably going to have planted daisies...but i don't have a pic yet.
ok well i didnt choose low so i guess im not help but what if you did half high and half low...i have seen really pretty low ones...also you have the option of doing a low cp but in a vase that is slightly raised. ill try to find a pic of that if you want

as of right now im doing a half low and half high.
i am doing partial low cps for the cost aspect and that i want the low cp's to be pumpkins with flowers in it and its kindaaaa hard to do that with a high cp![]()
ETA: as you mentioned above....im only having 12 tables and doing half and half, i dont think it will look bad with 10 tables
i want low CPs because with SOME high CPs it kinda creates a barrier on the table. but there are many high CPs that dont do that.... im not 100% yet though

OK then its definitely something to think about. FH has been a peach during the wedding planning and I'm not a huge flowers girl so it's easy to jus rethink the flowers.

I'm so easily swayed LOL...I thought was gooorgeous but it kinda doesn't go with what I had in mind.
My original CP would have been very similar to this:
I'm doing a bunch of different size vases with like one type of flower in each - but then some tall ones thrown in also. Kind of the best of both worlds at each table. But now I need to find some cheap vases!!!!

Loren, I was thinking of that but we're such a small wedding (10 tables) that I thought half-high half-low would look silly, no?
We are doing low CPs b/c of the low ceiling in our room..Plus I'm not much of a flower girl
I picked low cause its an afternoon wedding and I want to be able to look across the table at each other...
I picked low centerpeices because the ceilings at my RH are not that tall and my florist suggested low for them, plus they are cheaper, and IMO i just like the look of them better. I want everyone to be able to see each other, I think you can do a beautiful and very full low centerpiece.
low cps are ugly
I picked them b/c they are cheaper and b/c my RH already has big chandeliers...so I wanted to keep everyone's eyes from the ceiling.
