why do i bother???

so i called in today. dh wakes up with a stiff neck and a bad mood, so to help him, i figured i would shovel. our landlords are on vacation, so i didn't want it all to be on his shoulders. so i shoveled our patio, our walkway, their stoop, their walk way, paths to our cars, dug out dh's car and then shoveled a lovely path for the girl in the apartment next door from her door, around the driveway and a path to her car too. well, dh leaves and i go into the bathroom and our walls are kind of thin. what do i hear? i hear the girl talking to someone. then i hear a guys voice!!! so out of 4 people present in the house, i do all the shoveling??? crazy!!! but i guess i shouldn't complain too much. but i'm glad i didn't do it at 5:30 this morning.
