Well, chairs aren't the problem - I love chiavari chairs and my RH has them! But I'm worried about the tables. I always figured I'd have round tables, but my RH has long oval tables. I feel like you're kinda forced to talk to the closest 3 or 4 people sitting directly next/across from you.
What do you guys think? Do tables really matter? hahaha Seems so trivial but it's something I think about!

I think you end up talking to the people closest to you regardless of the type of tables you use. Everyone will probably be dancing anyway!

personally I love the longer tables, it's a bit more elegant....I feel that no matter what kind of table people are at they always end up talking to the people immediately around them, I wouldn't stress!

i know what you mean about the tables i think the woodlands has those and it was harder for us to envision our CP's, etc! i agree though that in the end no matter what kind of table it is you end up hanging w/ those you are immediately seated next to! dont worry about it

my venue has the same... I think it gives you alot more options with floral arrangements.

I prefer rounds to ovals, but really people arent seated the entire night anyway.

I think people will still talk to the person closet or those that they know regardless of the table. Don't stress about it. Your guests will be dancing the night away.

Yeah, I guess you guys are right...everyone does pretty much talk to the people sitting directly near them...I guess I just pictured round tables.
Oh, and I didn't even think about centerpieces! I guess there would have to be one big and two small? Oh, the decisions!

I really like the look of lots of low, small arrangements with a table runner, you could do something like that! I have seen lots of tablescapes like this in Martha Stewart. A quick search came up with this and this but it could work with any theme you want.

First off, I love those chairs too and am so happy my RH has them b/c otherwise I would have rented them lol
As far as tables are concerned, I personally like the round tables over the oval but it's really a personal preference. Your guests will mostly be on the dance floor the entire night so I wouldn't worry about it

i am doing 3 tall and 2 short in between per table and on a very cheap budget. Just choose the kind of flowers that look good and full with just a few per vase
