why do i feel liek i have not gotten anything done?
I LOOK AT EVERYONE AND THERE MAKE-UP TRIALS AND STUFF AND I HAVE 7 MONTHS AND 30 DAYS LEFT AND I DON'T HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHER EVEN THOUGH I WANT PATKEN I HAVEN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT HAIR TRIAL OR MAKE-UP TRIALS YET AM I LATE AT DOING THINGS OR IS EVERYONE JUST EARLY

I didn't go for my hair trial until about 6 weeks before the wedding. I went the day of one of my fittings so I could see how my hair would look with my dress on. My sister did my make up so I don't know when people usually go for the trials. You have plenty of time though.

You are fine and don't stress about it, everything will fall into place.
I booked as many vendors as I could because of my and my FH's schedule's and I knew as the wedding got closer I did not want to run around frantic.
Also, there are vendors that book quick and to secure your date, you book ASAP.
You have time to get everything done

Try not to base your own wedding planning based on what everyone else is doing. You need to move at your own pace, everyone is different!!
However I would book Patken ASAP bc they do book up fast and if they're not free for your date you'll need to find someone else soon. As for your hair and M/U trials you still have some time for that, there's no rush!!

Don't stress. Take everything as you can. I've read some stories on here about couples wrapping up everying in two or three months. You're doing fine!

THANKS EVERYONE IT'S JUST CRAZY ESPECIALLY NOW WITH THE HOLIDAYS AND STUFF I'M GETTING STRESSED OUT I GUESS

You have plenty of time for the hair and Make up trial. However, I would seriously call up Patken ASAP, LIKE TODAY!!! they are very popular photographers and you should definitely check to see if they have your date available. Many people book the photographer way in advance.

THANKS I DEF WILL I WENT THERE AND LOVED IT BUT I WAS SO IN BETWEEN WITH THEM AND ANOTHER COMPANY BUT I LOVE PATKEN THE BEST AND AFTER SEEING ONE OF MY FRIENDS PICTURES FROM THEM I LOVE IT THANKS FOR ALL THE ADVICE EVERYONE

Honestly, the only reason why I have gotten everything booked and done is b/c I have OCD and am addicated to this.
I think you will be okay. As far as the photographer, I think you should book them soon so your date is not taken.

Don't feel bad - I haven't booked ANYTHING! Going to see the Three Village Inn tonite - have high hopes for that. These girls in one of my classes who recently got married said that wedding planning takes exactly as much time as you have: if you have 2 years, it will take the full two years. If you have two months, you'll get it all done in two months. I figure that if I don't give myself a lot of time to plan it all, I'll have less time to second guess myself! ( I tend to do that a lot).

Please, you have nothing to worry about. Im getting married 6 mo form tomorrow and the ONLY thing I have is the RH .

It's the holiday season. Unless the wedding is in January or February, most brides don't do much in the way of planning at this time of the year. As for hair and makeup - unless you must have the number one recommended vendor, you have plenty of time for trials.

Dont stress, you will get it done. I have only my vendors done and still need to do limos. I havent done any of my trials and y BM dresses arent even ordered yet-I think you are doing ok.

I've gotten a lot done, but every time I look at my To Do List I feel like i've gotten nothing accomplished and I have so much more to do. It's normal to feel this way...a wedding is a lot to plan and you always seem to feel like other brides are way ahead of you. Take a deep breath and relax....you still have plenty of time and you will get everything done! Try not to feel overwhelmed & you alwasy have us if you're feeling stressed

haha! relax! If you should be stressing than I should be too b/c our date is the night before yours!
We are just booking our DJ this week, and we're meeting with our second photog tmrw. WE only really just got on the ball with all this stuff. I took a good 5 months to get rolling- I have friends who planned great weddings in 3 months! You have plenty of time. Just do one thing at a time.

You're fine...I'm marrying into the Air Force so I can't even get a date to get married until March/April and I'm planning on getting Married in July! So I'll have 3 months to do everything...just doing the little things I can do now...favors, dresses, flowers, centerpeices, menus, programs, bridal party gifts, etc. So you def. can do everything you need to in 7 months!
