WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO LIE???
I have or excuse me I had a friend who said she was DEFENITELY coming to my wedding when she found out the date ( a year ago). And now..I get this unbelievably pathetic email:
'Okay so I know you are still waiting for the rsvp's patiently..I am not sure if you know the situation but Wendy is waiting to hear from the surgeon to find out when her dad will have surgery, and if she couldn't make it due to this Ed would go with me. Now the problem Ed got a new job which is WOOHOO since it's more money and he won't have to work with my dad anymore, but at the same time it's BOOHOO because we don't know his hours or days when he will be working so he can't commit to coming to the wedding. So if Wendy can't go I won't be able to go. I will definitely mail back the RSVP either way, but I wanted to give you a heads up!! I know this day will be the most special or at least one of the most special days of your life it took you a while to find Prince Charming but you did it and it makes me really happy to see you have that….'
so I tell her Thank you...but why can't you come alone?
She says: 'Well I don't drive at night since I can't see and I don't know where I am going and on top of that to carpool with someone else I would be on there time and I didn't want to stay to late being that I have to get up for the family reunion the next day….'
MInd you she told me a few months back that they had an early flight the next day and that was th reason. At least if you are going to lie..remember what you said, or if yo udon't want to come..just say that..no need to give a b.s. story! Unreal!
I'm disappointed..but at this point..WHATEVER!!!
