Why do people insist...

on telling me to save my money and go elope because weddings aren't worth it...I mean, I didn't ask for the opinion on what to do with my money or my wedding SHEESH

Even my friends who have done this-- after they spent tons of money on a wedding-- like, it's my turn now!! Shush!

Unfortunately, EVERYONE has an opinion when it comes to weddings. Try to not let it get to you...at least people are showing an interest in your wedding, the only thing that my FIL's have asked me about our wedding is if there will be spanish music played at the reception, other than that, they show no interest whatsoever!

HAHA i hear ya... thats really starting to get to me too.... i'm seriously at the point where i wanna turn around and tell them 'well, give us a really good gift, and then it will be worth it!'

I have the same thing...everybody has an opinion...who should be invited, whats too expensive, what I should wear...Its soooo annoying!!!

This client walks into our office and is like I didnt know you were getting married, i'm like yeah..he's like well save your money..its not worth it..I was like ummm..shut up loser

I have gotten this a lot too. It is almost like people want to make you feel bad. It is kind of annoying after awhile getting unsolicited advice!!!

Probably, they are not using the best choice of words for their thoughts.

I wouldn't say that wedding 'aren't worth it'...

But, I do have to admit, now that it is all said and done, my husband and I have had several laughs talking about all of the things that we could have done with our money instead of paying for our wedding.

If I had it to do over, I would still put the same amount of money toward the wedding. But, did I really need TWO limos? (We drove in our own car, we got a limo for each of our moms so that they could both 'be in charge' of their own limo...
