I hate when people tell you to relax and it will all work out. The only way it will work out is if I do everything Im supposed to do....if I relax it wont get done! AHHH I am soooo sick of people!

DH used to tell me relax and it only made me more anxious so I know how you feel. So, don't relax. Get your plans done while thinking about the honeymoon and be sure to eat, exercise and drink lotsa water in the meantime so you look gorgeous! It's all worth it.

Re: Why do people insist on saying RELAX
I put the capital A in type A.
I can sympathize.
For example, I finally delegated something and well... I told some of my co-workers that due to other responsibilities this year, teaching a new course and 6 classes (one over full time) that they were in charge of submitting a certain final exam (we all teach the same course) to administration (I was not doing it! I always do) and then getting me a copy so I can run mine off. Well, the exam is on Wednesday and I asked them where it was today because all copies were do in the safe at 8am. It should have been submitted weeks ago, sent to our chair to be intialled, then the principal, then back to us, photocopied, bundled properly and put in the safe. I flipped when it was 1:45 (15 minutes left in the school day) and it was NEVER submitted... that process takes a few days. I told them, figure it out and make me 25 copies by 7:00 am tomorrow!
Like I need this, my wedding is in 21 DAYS!
I can sympathize, you and I stress because we can't trust anyone to follow through like we do.

Oh, next time someone says 'Relax' say, 'Oh, thank you for the offer of help, ok, let's see, you can:
1. check on the side vegetable with the hall
2. type up, design, print and organize menus
3. call the hotel and check on how many OOTers have confirmed
4. run to Party City and get X amount of gift bags for OOTers.
5. call the dj and make and appointment
6. Type up my do not play list and e-mail it to them
7. confirm all bridesmaids got their dress fitting appointments
8. call the minister, find out if he an'or his wife is atttending
9. add them to placecard list
10. double check placecards, print and alphabatize for the hall...
What, oh, you have to go do some mindless activity like play internet poker?
OOOOOHH, cause if you could have done all that for me, then I could have FR!@#$IN RELAXED!!!
People think all of our hard work just gets done by magic or some elves or something.

I love that!!!! My mom (who lives out of state so hasn't been too involved in the day to day stuff with me) was trying to tell me to not get so worked up about things the last time i saw her. I spent about 10 min. rattling off a list just like the one above to her and watched her expression when she realized all the stuff I had to take care of. Its true ladies, you have NO idea how much is involved unless you're in the middle of it and doing it all yourself.
