Why do we.....

Let other people in our lives make us feel inadequate, especially when planning our wedding?

I've read the posts from some of you on how your FMILs and FSIL's etc have made you second guess your choices. Or even, your MOHs who don't help..I just want to tell them all on your behalf how lucky they are that you would even ask their opinions or include them in your plans. It's an honor to be included in the biggest day of our lives and they should be humbled by it. Everyone will have their opinions, even on these boards.

Please puff yourself up and realize that you are all strong, independent, capable, beautiful women and have a very strong support system here and around you everyday. Go make it the best day of your lives and tell everyone who is not on board with you to get off!

I hope this was empowering to you and know although I don't know you all personally, I'm behind you 1000%.

Great post!!! FI and I were just talking about this last night after reading some fairly negative posts on this site about family, friends and members of the bridal party who are not supportive.
