I wonder what body language experts would have to say about that. I would wonder if maybe she is trying to let him take the lead in the relationship? In her other marriages she was the more high-profile one, so maybe this time she wants to keep a lower profile and let Marc take the spotlight? And maybe she thinks that will work out better for her. But I'm just speculating.

I think the tabloids have analyzed this and she seems to do it with all her men ... at least with P Diddy and Ben

She's trying not to upstage her man. She's clearly a big force in the financial dept, and gives up her 'shine' when in public with her guy.

i think that in her professional life she is out there and she is very confident and assertive but I also think that when she is at home, she just tries to be a normal person. jmo

That's an assumption. Marc has done very well for himself, especially internationally. I don't believe Jennifer has gotten the same results abroad.
What's wrong with walking behind your man? I actually like it when my DH leads the way. And it has nothing to do with who makes the money.

Marc Anthony is wayyyyyyyyyy rich! its just not talked about as much as JLO but he has done extremely well for himself not just hear but abroad in Latin America and Europe so he can hold his own.
JLO is a extremely romantic and I think she likes the feeling she must get from her guy leading her taking her by the hand etc everywher they go together its like hes protecting her or something(what she must feel)
As liberated as I am I kind of like it when my guy does it to me, although there have been occassions where I lead him
