Why does Pet food smell so NASTY??

I just fed my cat a whiskas pouch of chicken in gravy....

Why do all of them smell fishy? My chicken and gravy certainly does not smell foul like that...GROSS>.it turns my stomach

I know...I can't feed the cats because I GAG from the smell. BLEH!

Yes, I've had dogs most of my life. My Golden lives with my Dad our house is too small (she's huge) and FH has a cat (A very neurotic cat with issues, but very lovable)... our cat now. I tend to have a strong stomach but, as Wayne and Garth used to say,... 'Makes me want to hurl'. I don't have a sensitive stomach but it is just gross.

FH is away in CA for the week on business. I am dreding opeing that can tomorrow morning... ugh.

I don't think I'll ba able to be in the same house as the food when I'm pregos. All of my girlfriends said their sense of smell was so sensitive.

my cat is the PICKIEST eater ever!! She ONLY eats Fancy Feast 'Tuna with Shrimp'
