i dont understand why the brides make up cost so much! they are not coming to me, im going to them. i mean i guess i understand the bride costing a LITTLE more, but the bridesmaids shouldnt cost more than a regular make up application?? i just get so frustrated that because you say 'wedding' they just decide to charge you more grrrr!!

I was just saying this the other day! I mean are our faces different... are you going to work not as hard on the BM and harder on me? bc if i was doing someones makeup no matter who it was for i would always do the best that i could do! i dont get it one bit. is the hair on our head different too? thats more money! gggrrrrr.... they just want our money and we need it done more than the bm so they get us to pay more.

the pple i booked for my trial gives me a touchup kit. also you could pay more to have somoene follow you around to do touchups if you need that.

I agree I don't understand why we should pay more. Not even a little bit more a lot more. Same goes for bridesmaids.
I hate when they list prices and you see the brides one more.

To be honest...I think they charge the brides more because...yes, they do spend more time on us. However, not enough time to make it double what the BMs pay. I think it would be reasonable if the BMs had to pay 100 and the brides had to pay 150, but not DOUBLE. That's just ridiculous.
Same with any vendor though. They hear 'wedding' and the price tags go up. One of my coworkers was telling me that when she went to her florist, she told them that she was having a party. And it was almost half the price!!!!!!!!!!

Mine actually doesnt cost more than the bridesmaids which I find odd... I think $150 for me isn't too bad but $150 for a bm is a lot!

well my make up artist you can pay extra for her to stay all day. I was going to too many locations after, did the ceremony then 2 picture locations that were in all in queens and then rh in LI so wasnt gonna have someone running all around. However, I was given stuff to touch my make up with, the truth is i never ended up using it. Well I did use the lipgloss she gave me but thats about it. The other stuff she gave me i had in my bag, and in the bridal suite before we were going to get announced into RH, i said i had to freshen up, looked in the mirror and didnt have to touch it up at all, which i was happy about. But definitely ask them, most likely theyll give you something or some stuff, but in case you see they dont on the day of just ask. Also bring some of your own stuff too. I had all my make up too bc i had my overnight bag with me in the bridal suite since we were going to a hotel straight after, but again didnt use any of that either.

usually they'll put some foundation and powder on a sponge for you to touch up. That's what i got when I did my trial.

My make up lady does a package for 3 people...I think the bride is slightly more but not by a lot if you do the package.
