I was wondering that too, I canged my avatar and it took a few days to show up - i thought I had done it wrong

Hit F5 to refresh....I can see your crown..you might just not be able to

Your avatar changes automatically---but sometimes your computer's 'cache' memory stores images so that it is easier to open up web pages. so what can happen is that your computer is not sending a request to LIW to get the new image
hit F5 or try and clean the cache in your computer by deleting all the Temporary Internet Files from the internet options under the tools menu in internet explorer!

I see the crown too---but my question is..why does it take so long between Board Fanatic and 1000 posts!!!!!!!!!!!!
