Would you belive that my one of my cousins had the nerve to send me an email saying that she would appreicate knowing in advance (like NOW) where in the ball room she is sitting and with whom she is sitting with??? ***????

I'd love to put her (and all the other trouble makers) at the table right next to the band. It shouldn't be this hard! Out of 260 guests, FH and only have 7 tables, and even that took us 3 /12 hours to do.
Next Sunday can't come fast enough!

MY MOM IS DOING IT FOR ME. I'm taking care of co-workers.

We ended up with really lopsided tables, e.g. 12 at one, 7 at antoher, to try to make people feel comfortable....

I did not have too hard of a time because I made my MIL do her side and my mom did hers and my husband and I did our friends.

That's what we're doing. My parents are divorced and my father is re-married and there's alot of drama over who sits where because the families are (or used to be close) and my mother doesn't want anyone from her side sitting with anyone from my father's side, etc...etc... I told my mother, she is an adult, she needs to act like one and get over it!

I did my seating last night. At first I had lopsided tables and 5 people (cousins) that I didn't know where to put and couldn't put them by themselves with all the other tables wit 10 and 12 people. So, instead of putting my parents with their siblings, like it should be, I put her with her friends and my siblings with their friends then my aunts and uncles with their own family.(as opposed to aunts and uncles at one table, cousins at another, etc.) and it worked out fine! I have some of my family members sitting with friends/co-workers, but I think they would actually have more fun that way!
