Why don't any of these videos show people dancing?
I've been reviewing a lot of the online videos from the various videographers. However, one thing that I've noticed is that none of them seem to show any footage of people dancing at the reception. To me, a full dance floor at the reception is a sign of a good time and it's definitely something I want to see at least the highlights of on video.
For those of you that already have videos, was the dancing (if any) captured well in your video?
Does anyone know of any videographer that at least shows some examples of his/her work capturing people on the dance floor?

Our video showed people dancing and having a great time...as far as being captured well....that's hard to say, Ray did the BEST JOB, but half of our family and friends were being funny and silly and were totally wasted!! LOL! but it definately was great to see!

The ones we saw had people dancing and looking like such idiots that my FH and I couldn't look at each other or we would just burst out laughing...

i think for a videographer, that anybody can go around the room filming people dancing.... but its a lot harder to find a good spot to film the ceremony or to film you and your girls getting ready without being in the way,etc.... so thats what they want to show off when you look at the samples..... they want to show you that they can film the more difficult things..... just because they don't show you people dancing on their samples, doesn't mean they won't do a good job at it, i think they just want to show off the parts that take more skill....

My video is filled with dancing. Its one of the best parts b/c they captured people doing funny moves, etc..

Mine showed a lot of dancing, too. Don't worry, any good videographer will capture the dancing. I think they don't put it up on the web as samples because they don't want some random guest suing them if they put the guest dancing drunkenly up as a sample.

The videos that you see on sites are 'samples' or 'best ofs' it's not the full edited video that gets back the couple, that one, the full one, shows everything - including the reception.
