Why don't guys make plans? And why does mine have to piss me off???

I don't get it...

I nominated my brother for some teacher thing, and was just called that he's a finalist, and they would like me to go to it this Saturday night for a 2 hour thing. I had to write an essay for him and it was chosen and my brother could win something for it.

Now, I don't NEED my FH to go with me. I just told him about it, and he's like, I was thinking of doing something this weekend. I was like, 'what?'. He's like, 'Something.' He HAS no plans... he just has to give me a stomach ache. He's like you know I don't make plans, I just want to do SOMETHING.

So I have to put my life on HOLD just in case he has imaginary plans in his head that I don't know about?!?!?!

Why does he have to be do damn aggravating? I told him he can have whoever he wants over here for the weekend, but I'm going to this thing for my brother this weekend for two hours on Saturday night. He's like, 'We'll talk about it later.'. I'm telling you now... I will be PISSED if he decides to go alone to his friend's house for the weekend without me when we don't even get to see each other during the week with our mismatched work schedules.

Sorry... had to vent...

your fh should want to go with you, esp since it's for your brother (his fbil)... it's only two hours and he should go with you and plan, if he wants to do 'something', to do so afterwards. IMO, he should be more supportive of what you do and your family obligations. i don't really know why he doesn't want to be that way... what is it hurting? if it was something nice for him i'm sure you and your brother (as well as your family) would make an effort to go, participate, be there, support your fh, etc. it just seems a little selfish, no offense.. JMO. i'm sorry he has this attitude towards the subject sarah-- i would just try to stay calm and talk to him about it when it comes a little closer to the day. i hope it works out

guys are just aloof sometimes. go and have a great time and if your FH doesn't want to, shake it off...although i think he should go.

I'd never yell at you ladies!

The eyes are coming along... just still a little blurry, which they say is still normal.

I really don't even need him to go with me...

I just don't want him to make up imaginary weekend plans as a response to hearing that I have something to DO! It just seems selfish to me...
