Still have 43 missing RSVPs 5 days after the RSVP date. One of which is from a groomsmen in the bridal party!!! I hope more come in within the next few days.

because people want to torture us and they aren't sure if we have enough on our plates 6 weeks before our wedding, so they wanted to toss us the challenge of chasing around after full grown adults that have had 2 months to mail in a prestamped preaddressed envelope my rsvp date is next fri and i have 68 outstanding. 68 couples. we will see...

I don't know what people are thinking. Especially since I have since seen these stragglers who have complimented me on my invite. I feel like saying, 'send it in already- come, don't come, just Reply!!' My RSVP was Sept 1st. I have 83 guests outstanding I feel your pain

What are people doing? It is not a hard thing to send in an RSVP. I know it is a difficult walk to the mailbox.

I feel your pain. I sent out an email to every missing guest TWO days after the RSVP date that I invited and gave FH his list to deal with. As of today we are both missing two RSVP cards, although I got an RSVP email with a no. Therefore, technically I have one invite unaccounted for, and FH has two unaccounted for.

I started calliing and emailing my delinquent guests about 3 weeks before the wedding. My RSVP date was about 6 weeks before the wedding because I was planning from out of town. I only received about 40% of responses by RSVP date. Don't worry, it will all work out!!!

b/c they're all ignorant as to the process these days. it's true...people who married 20 years ago, don't have a clue what we are put through and how deadlines are real and you need a headcount to order favors, chair covers, menus, programs, etc...
that and they're all mean.

Honestly the poeple who didn't respond I gavve them 7 days after the response date and I called them so since you are 5 days after give them 2 more days then call them

Amen Sister! I dont get people. Even my close friends had to be hunted down, now, i know they are coming, but what the heck is the problem? Then i have other friends that say, well i am coming but i am not sending in the rsvp until right before the date and i am not telling you if i am bringing a guest either. Can I ask why? If you dont have a boyfriend/girlfriend now, and you arent dating anybody, are you going to pick up someone from the street to bring to the wedding????

Our wedding is in 2 weeks and I got 2 bak yesterday!! The RSVP date was a month ago!!! I have vowed never to send back an rsvp late ever again!!!

DH's brother never responded, plus a wide variety of other guests. My a-hole of a brother never responded and he told me that since he didn't like my then FH he might not attend the wedding at all. He showed up though. I have a great time photoshopping thought bubbles over his head in pictures now
