I wish I could just send my a$$, but unfortunately, the rest of me needs to attend as well for optimum results!

I just did some leg things on the Cybex machines yesterday and some running today, but I don't think the lower half of me was ready for that...It's gotten used to being fat and lazy with all of this gross watery mayonnaise around!...

Hey, dont be so hard on yourself. At least you WENT to the gym. I haven't seen the inside of a gym since before our wedding in July

January 3rd, that's all over for us. DH&I are determined to make overselves over by the time our anniversary rolls around

Wish us luck ... we truly need it!!

what gym did you go to? near home or work? I just discovered a tiny gym around the corner from me.
I think at some point between tomorrow & monday I will look into their rates, but I hate to be one of those people that starts in january. New Yers resolutions--yuck! This is just when I am getting around to it.

Heather, we actually have a gym in our apartment building .. it only costs us $60/year to join, and they have everything .. treadmills, nautilus, free weighs, bikes, steppers.. So there truly is NO excuse not to go!

Yet we easily walk right by it with our chinese takeout and pizza all the time

. Does it help anyone to prevent muscle pains to do stretches before exercises? I have been doing it and it seems to work.
