why don't vendors....

ever check to see if you have visited them or even booked with them beofre they send you 'new info' - lately i have been getting calls and mailings from people we have already seen and talked to - i could see it happening once (b/c everyone can make a mistake) but first it was flowers by brian who called me the day before we were suposed to meet them to ask if i was interested (i thought they were calling to reschedule !) and i had to tell them we were coming in - she even challenged me as to 'when?' like i was lying.....and then yesterday the winngate inn sent me a whole packet of info - but we blocked our rooms off with them months ago and with the same girl who signed the ltr!....these are the 2 off the top of my head but it has been happening over and over lately...

it makes me want to vent b/c i feel if they just look into it, they could save so much money and keep their costs down...since part of what we are paying for is their brichures and calls to other people.....
