Why even have BM's?

I have 4 bms.

One doens't live here, and I knew when I asked her, she would kinda be a non-bm.

The other one, seems to really care, except she keeps telling me how little my other bm's care, wich is upsetting. She also is giving me A LOT of info, LIKE it's in March or early April, AND it 's most likely going to be at a Chinese buffet, so much for surprises!!

BM # 3 is my MOH, she is getting married on July 1st, so she is also planning her own wedding. She has made comments to BM#2 like 'right now her shower isn't a priority' and 'lets just do this the cheapest way possible' She is hard to get in touch wth, and ONLY wants to talk bout her wedding!!

and then there is BM #4 who NEVER calls me and is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with. I asked her if she could get the pic of Matt and I from her wedding so I could put it on my video and she said 'I don't really have time'. Uhm, thanks. Well, she's pregnant.... and she is ue early April. BM #2 talks to her today and she says 'I don't want to be involved with shower planning BECAUSE o the baby' W T F ?!?! She doesn't have a new baby at home, she's just pregnant!!! I was a BM is her shower and I spent A LOT of time, money, and put a lot of effort into her shower. I CARED that she had a nice day.

It just hurts..... ya know?

It stinks. And I'm sure it hurts. I hope that when your day comes, they will be so supportive that you won't remember feeling this way.

I think that this can be very hard sometimes...we are brides and this is the most important day of our lives! However, we need to keep it in perspective that everyone else has their own priorities and lives. It sounds like your BM's also have huge events coming up. Although , I think their attitude should be that they will do the best they can given the circumstance...not that they want to skimp or not do it at all!! Hang in there!! I am sure you will have a beautiful shower and wedding NO MATTER WHAT!!

Yeah, but all I'm asking is you get a picture for me and care a tiny bit about my shower. Is that so much? Really, I only made them go dress shopping ONCE, I treated them to dinner and drinks after shopping, I gave them gifts!!! I picked up the dresses for them. I told them they could get any stupid shoes they wanted. All I ask is you at least pretend to care about my wedding. I would never make my friends feel so unimportant.
