So our dog was being a little funny before. Very lethargic and breathing super fast. So I'm googling everything which just freaked me out even more. Im running around the house like a maniac trying to find traces of maybe something she ate or whatever. Of course I fall asleep with my arms around her and every time her breathing pattern changed I woke up in a panic. At one point I didn't feel her move and started screaming at FH to wake up. Now she's back to her moody self, grunting whenever we move and being whiny if we push into her. Never thought I'd be so happy to her growling! So I decided, at 3 am now, I'd be that parent who wakes my kid up all night to make sure they're ok and I'll never sleep again :

awww your just a good dog mama! i was actually talking to FH last night how i dont think im ready for us to get a dog and he was like well then were DEFINITLEY not ready for kids!

Awwww glad the dog is feeling better. As a mom of a 10 month old I can tell you when you have kids its 100 times worse lol Everytime I get up I check the baby to make sure shes still breathing. Also my child has never slept in a room alone except for naps and then I have the video monitor. I actually have slept on the floor in her room. Im so paranoid about someone taking her.My FH thinks Im crazy but I dont care I know my baby is safe and thats all that matters. I have become a tad bit paranoid lol The first time my cousin gave her child peanut butter she gave it to him in the emergency room parking lot so that if he had a reaction she was already there lol Kids dont come with a handbook you just have to learn as you go and you can never be prepared but when you are holding that little baby mother instincts kick in and you just do what you have to do.

She likes to thump every morning at like 2am and I wake up in a panic because I'm afraid it's her telling me she's choking or something. no, she always just wants to play. FH just stays asleep. I'm looking into my future and I think I better start staying up later now to get used to it!

Aww that's cute! Lol I have a 6 and almost 3 yr old little girl and I haven't had a good night sleep since they were born I feel like. Any noise they make at night I'll go run in and check on them. I still touch their chests while they are sleeping to make sure they are breathing. I think when you just love something so much you just have that instinct to always make sure they are ok.

LOL I'm crazy about my bunnies!! I'm always like a mom checkign on them all the time and going to the vet... it's why I feel like I can't have kids either!
