fh has worked his tooshie off non stop trying to make our house like a logcabin. Both of our dreams were to own a cottage/cabin in the future and when fh decided to renovate the house to two family, he bought a bunch of cabin books and decided to replicate his favorites in the basement. At first I got upset because I said it was a waste of time and energy but yestrday he said to me
'I want our first years together to be something of happy memories. Not of fixing broken pipes or tryign to get out of the appartment as soon as possible. I want it to be a place where time flies without worry or anger. Thats one less thing i DO NOT want us to worry about our first few years married'
and now i get it...

I am pretty bad sometimes too... I don't mean it I just get stressed and he is unfortunately the only person around that I can uleash my craziness on. lol I swear I am going to be better in '09. I only got like this recently.. I blame wedding planning !!

Beecause he alwasy clams me down and lets me know that everything will always work out OK. The ending part of this year he has been very sweet and romantic...writing me poems and giving me plenty of surprises. It's all sooo amazing!

While this was a year of much happiness for us, it started out as a year of many set backs and FH was really there for me through a LOT of things, more so than I ever could have hoped or expected. I knew I wanted to marry him way before all this but it just made everything so much clearer and really solidified our relationship and the notion that we really can make it through ANYTHING so that is why I love FH this year!!!

I have many reasons.
He makes me laugh- A LOT! He's my giant bear who protects me. He puts up with me which is hard. He balances me out. He's the sweetest person on the plant. Such a kind loving man. He's always looking out for my best interest.
That's just a few but there are millions more!

since i dont drive when my cousin got married and i was in the bp he drove me out to li to davids bridal and sat there while us girls tried on a million dresses and did not complain once..he did tell me later that he thinks people thought he was a pervert just sitting there watching girls in dresses

Because of what he said to me an email before Christmas and what he wrote to me again today. About what our wedding day will be. That we have something rare and it doesn't matter if NO ONE is there to see us. We will have each other. That is all that matters. I would copy here what he wrote me today but I told him I did that a couple weeks ago and he kind of felt weird about it lol. He thought it was too private to post. Which is probably true. I just want everyone to know how wonderful he is to me!!

i agree! its so wonderful to hear these stories!!
i love fh this year because of his unyielding support and love. its been a very stressful year with my job, and he doesn't bat an eye when i just need to come home and crash, or do school work all night. he cooks, cleans, and takes care of me and does it all with love, never judging or anything.
this week i'm off, and haven't done as much housework as i wanted to, and fh just keeps saying 'relax, you deserve it' he never leaves me a honey-do list, and just loves me.
haha i'm crying while writing this.... i just love him so much!

Because of everything that happened to me this year he was my rock trhough it all. My Grandma passed away, then my Grandfather got lung cancer and then my Father passed away as well. I was also was having some problems at work and with friends so its really been a tough year, every piece of my life fell a part except him, he was there the whole way and was strength I needed.
