After a 20 minute drive we arrived at apple orchards in an area that was reminiscent of upstate new york. We picked 40 lbs of apples with my family. The kids had a blast while we ate popcorn and candied apples. A quick ride home and had an awesome BBQ in the warm sunshine on the first day of fall. Looking forward to baking some apple pies.

Our sunday was relaxing, we opened all our e-party gifts and i wrote out ALL my thank yous (about 70 in total, i am very proud of myself)

aww that's soooo sweet. I love long island too although i don't live there!!! but i usually go with my sisters to a pumpkin patch they love it!!... My Sunday was blehhhhh!!!! I studied most of the day because i have an Exam on Wed ughh!!

Its funny. When I was in school I just wanted to graduate. Its been 5 yrs since I got my diploma, and I miss it!
We'll be pumpkin picking in 2 weeks. We have FHs son every other weekend and we try to fill it full of fun stuff. Our next weekend with him will be getting his costume (he wants to be spiderman) decorating for halloween, pumpkin picking and I'm sure bike riding. Hoping there will be a fall festival. Really love those.

I love school, I guess it's just one thing i've always been good at and seen my hard work pay off. I could never play sports or anything so at least im book smart!
I Love apple picking and being out on the east end! We went to see East Wind today so we were totally loving all the fall pumpkins and apples!

I Greenport! It's so cute! It does have some of the best food. I also love the Nautical Mile during the summer, lots of live bands and good seafood.

ooh apple picking is so fun!
I went to a few floral appointments this weekend, the one i saw yesterday quoted us a cheaper price but he was too salesy which i didn't like. ugh.

We went to Lewins. The place is huge, and even though the cars are lined up forever, you never feel like you are being crowded in. Usually go there for apples and Stackey's for the pumpkins.

i love that place! i went in august for peach picking, but they didn't have apples in season when i went.. i have to head back there!

lol which outlets? the one in deer park?
I was just there yesterday and they didnt look like they were anywhere near done (they took down more of the woods and are adding another area for stores...)
