Why I love my HUSBAND!

so since i'm bored at work and its a slow day, i wanted to post this lil story from the wknd. kind of a 'this is what its all about--being married'

this wknd i had a trip to the ER (no worries, i'm obviously okay since i'm typing this). basically i was experiencing some of the most severe pain that can only be described as pain that should be reserved as a torture method for murderers & rapists. i get little cysts on my ovaries, and they rupture, causing said pain.

it happened 2 nites in a row--and the second nite happened so fast and severe, i collapsed outside the bathroom. my DH had JUST gotten home from working 22 hours STRAIGHT, and rushed me to the ER. while we waited for the next like NINE HOURS....my poor DH was sitting next to me trying to stay awake--i told him 'Just go home and sleep' since we live only 10 min. from the hospital. he looked me like i was crazy and said 'no way amd i leaving you alone--i can sleep tomorrow'

he rubbed my back & feet, got me water and pillows, and did whatever he could to make me feel better. it was one of those days where i thought to myself 'Wow, this is the whole in sickness & in health part of the vows, working OT!'

What a gem of a hubby you have there! The simple fact of the matter is: you are his everything. Sorry that you were in so much pain! I hope they gave you medicine to ease it.

seriously---its an unbelievable pain, isn't it? when the doctor told me they did an ultrasound and saw the rupture--he was like 'that is what was causing the discomfort'

um discomfort---how about the fuking VISE that was squeezing on my insides you douche!

I have a similar guy of my own--I've had to go to the ER three times already this year. It's amazing what you learn about a guy when he has to hold your vomit basin. I learned that my husband is wonderful, and that I'm incredibly lucky too.
