ok so we ordered calla lily boutenierres and corsages for the mothers and fathers..now i get an email from his mother saying she would rather have a small bouquet of cream colored roses..What the F......just take what your given and shut the hell up nobody cares about what flowers you are gonna have anyway. And since when does the grooms mother carry an f'n bouquet......sorry just had to get that out.

I feel your pain
I actually had both mothers carry very small bok's instead of corsages. I thought it looked so nice... but obviously she shouldn't be requesting something when you have already decided on it!
fmil will have a wrist corsage but my mom willhave a small bo-k. My mom is walking me down the aisle and was worried about what to do with her free hand so the florist gave us the idea.
I am giving both mom's a white rose-same for both. Maybe you could use that as your reasoning? Calla Lillies I know are expensive.

I would leave it with what you have, it's not her day she's not a bridesmaid ( obviously) she doesn't need a bouquet...
you're hilarious! that sounds like something i would say ... you're right, just do what you want to do, it's your wedding
throw her in white frilly dress too, while she is at it, complete with a veil.
