I know what you mean! I have to let the florist know by Sunday how many centerpieces I need and I have to know soon how many people are coming but many people have not replied yet. Others are adding more people to the RSVP card and I just don't get it. Very frustrating. Can't wait until this is all over with.

Yes! It's super annoying! People think that's its just a regular party and you can just show or not and its perfectly ok smh

I had someone reply as a yes two weeks before the wedding, I had to shift everything around to accommodate them, and then they didn't bother to show up the day of!! I was furious when I was going through everything after the wedding.
No gift either.

I had one yes change to a no yesterday (less than two weeks out). And I got an RSVP in the mail yesterday (2 weeks after due date) checked no, who didn't bother filling out their name. We also had a few people change their nos to yeses a week or two ago.

You need to stay firm. I wouldnt leave messages most of the time. I would wait until I got a person on the line or if I did leave a message I would call them back a few days later. If they choose not to respond, tell them politely that you are putting them down as a no.

We had one no show but it worked out bc someone who was not invited showed up LOL Can you believe the nerve?!

I'm bracing myself for this possibility. My RSVP date is 8/1 and not even half the people have responded...even wedding party people! I think this phenomenon is just a sad commentary on how self-centered people are these days.

I know this is going to be a problem with one side of the family ---since for the last two weddings they didnt bother to RSVP and they just showed up. I however will not be chasing people down ---I think I am going to try to purposely make the deadline RSVP 3-4weeks before normal and guess what if you dont respond or send it in late....too bad, good bye and good luck! I'm sorry but if you cant be bothered to check a box and write your name and dump something in the mail box then...I cant be bothered to be overly considerate of you either.

Good Luck to you all and I am sorry you have to deal with this.. ugh.

Honestly some people do forget to send the card back but if it was me I would mark them off as a no a move on! Don't stress over it!!

Okay so I sent mine out 2 weeks ago and my deadline is August 14th, but I'm still irritated some people didn't send back yet. I KNOW these people are coming, but they haven't sent back their response. What the %$&! is the hold up???? It's yes or no. You also have had my damn picture and wedding date hanging on your fridge for a year. Ridic

i am so dreading this part of all the planning. The waiting for the RSVP's. My FH has have several people get married and they have shared with us a couple of horror stories. My FH is being very blunt about the whole thing. Just RSVP. If we do not hear from them, we call and if they are still undecisive then the answer is no. Plain and simple. I have very few people as my father is the only family memeber at my wedding and the rest are my closest of friends that I consider to be family. My FH said he is not dealing with all of the drama. Youcan either make it or you can't. I guess I am so non-challant about the whole thing because I know of all my guest who will be attending. - At least i hope so = )

All I have to say is WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?????? I hope I don't have to deal with any of this when the invites are sent out next week.

On top of it all, I've now lost track of the number of people that have asked if they can bring their children (most of whom are under two years of age) to our wedding. WHY would anyone WANT to do have their infant/toddler out until midnight?? I just don't understand.

Lol the nerve! Nicely say we're having an adult only wedding if you don't want children there. My f.h and I have 10 nieces and nephews and were not having any kids. Only the flower girl and ring boy. That's it!
