WHY is it so hard for FFIL to UNDERSTAND...UPDATED!

that he has to RENT a tux/suit JUST like everyone else. For some reason, he is insisting on like going to Macy's and BUYING one. I want to scream!!!!!!!!!!! I told him and FH FIVE times that as soon as I find the ones I want..he will have to RENT one.
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Updated: I just went to Mens Wearhouse with FH and we ordered all the tux's for the wedding. So now he's going to call his dad to let him know. FH said he thinks his dad wanted to buy one because he thought it would be cheaper. The one we rented for him is only $119.99 and it's Kenneth Cole and really nice!

My dad, grandpa and FFIL bought their tuxes. They would rather just spend the money to own them than to rent them... do they really need to match your BP? I don't think it's that big of a deal (JMO).

I don't think it's that terrible. I would say if that's what he wanted to do that's his choice. He'd be the one paying for it not you, JMO.

My dad, FIL, and GFIL (grandfather in law) all wore tuxes that didn't match the BP. They rented, but it would have been fine if they bought them.

My dad and 2 brothers brought their own tuxes... each one different from one another. Fil already had his own tux (he wears tuxes to some business parties). They all look great!

It's not a big deal to me if they wear different tuxes but I can understand if you want them to match... especially if he's the only one not matching. Hopefully fh can convince his dad to rent a tux.
