Why is my sister such a jerk?

My sister/ moh just sent me a message saying that she cannot afford to get her dress. All of the other girls have ordered their dresses except her bc she said she was waiting to lose baby weight. Now she sends me a message saying that I should be offering her money to help her pay her bills and that I should offer to baby sit all summer bc Im off from work. I think she is backing out of being in my party. I feel super upset. I can just pay for her dress but she has been such a jerk - has not helped or planned one thing for me. And she threw in my face that 'not everyone gets to go to PR on vacation'! WTH! She has had a year to save for this - but the truth is she spends money whenever she wants to and is just being a diva! What should I do?

Your sister/MOH wants YOU to pay for HER dress. Get the heck out of here. She should be doing things for you, not dictating what you should do for her. I'd ask her straight out if she's trying to get out of the BP and to let you know now. Uhhhhh, sisters!!!!!!

I have no idea... I think she is a little jealous because ahe is going through a rough patch but I already paid for the kids dresses to help out.

Why do sisters ****?! Mine already told me this week she isn't coming to mine! I'm sorry this is happening. It's not your responsibility to pay for HER dress! You have a whole wedding to pay for!

Wow, what a terrible attitude for her to have towards her sister's wedding.

Is she jelous? This doesn't sound like normal behavior

Oh no! I dont think she is being fair to you and she sounds really jealous. Everyone has their rough patches but she should be happy for you.
She is trying to bring you down and make you feel guilty for having something good in your life.

I think that because she is you sister ... just to keep the peace in the family-maybe offer to pay for half of her dress.

Would other family members give your grief if you refused?

At the end of the day she is your sister and she is going to be in your life.

This is a really tough situation to be in. hang in there!!!
