why is RSVP'ing such a difficult concept for some people??
A friend of mine (who should truly know better) RSVP'd that she would be attending the wedding (note SHE, not SHE and guest). I just got an email from her saying 'i believe i was invited with a guest and i am going to bring John.' Now, don't get me wrong, she was invited with a guest but it would have been nice to know that she was bringing someone. Do people just not understand the purpose of an RSVP?? headcount people... headcount!!! argh....
thanks for letting me vent.... i just don't understand people sometimes!

sure you don't have my MOH and some of my friends?
My MOH still has not handed in her RSVP (rsvp date was 3/27) card - she was going to bring a date then last monday she tells me no date - then she calls me this weekend and tells me date again - OK no problem but make up your mind - she still doesn't know who yet, GM says he will bring a date but as of yet has not asked anyone so I can see it now - oh well I couldn't find anyone -
Then these others just responded their name + 1 guest (possibly) they keep asking me can I let you know the week of - and they just don't get it

I don't understand why people that know that they are coming don't go ahead and RSVP as soon as possible. A friend of mine said the other night that she had turned down a gig for the night of my wedding and I said that she should go ahead and send her RSVP. She said , but I have until May 10. Duh, I know that but if you are coming then go ahead and drop the damn self-addressed envelope in the mail.
Another friend of mine (whose RSVP i have not recieved yet) said to me that he was not going to bring a guest because he knows how much money weddings can be. I told him that that was nice and I was happy that he was coming by himself especially since he was not invited with a guest!!!

I feel you pain! Mine is about my coworkers. One walked her RSVP over to me. The other (jokingly) wrote out his RSVP on a post it. I said hey, if I knew you guys would do this, I would have saved the stamps and sent you an Evite.
