why is this happening?

everytime I click on the 08 board ... it loads the posts from 8/15/07 unless I go down to the bottom and change it to 'the beginning'. What a pain in the a$$ to do this EVERYTIME i want to chat on the 08 board. It doesnt happen on any of the other boards

any have this happen to them? maybe its a computer glitch? anyone know how to fix it?
