I left my purse in the pizza place at lunch today (I was carrying a little wristlet and hung it on the chair). By the time I realized it (after work)...it was gone. No one turned it in. I had to cancel my Debit and ATM cards, lost $50 and I have to take time off of work to go to the DMV to get a new driver's liscense.
I'm so absent minded- constantly losing things. I'm starting to think I really have a problem.
Sorry- just had to vent.

Im sorry.. Im the same way.. Im always losing something or forgetting somthing.. I guess wedding planning can do that to you!

ahhhhhhhhhhh i feel your pain!!!! I lost my retainers this weekend, worth about $1,000 (invisaline). I have not been able to sleep all week because of this.....there goes my cigar roller!!!!

So sorry!!! I lost (and later FOUND) my wallet in Central Park of all places. You never know - maybe someone will mail it to you - that happened to me in the past too.

Sorry you had to go thru all that. I never hang my purse on the back of a chair. It always goes on the floor between my feet so that I can feel it. Something small like a wristlet should lay on the table near your arm.

ugh i HATE that feeling! I'm constantly losing my wallet. I once left it in a cab but was lucky enough that an honest person picked it up and my name was listed in the phone book.

I left my wallet at Mulcahy's years ago and someone actually mailed it back to me- $$ included!! There are some good people out there....
Then again- I had a purse stolen right out from under me (actually it was on the table next to me, I was turned around talking to my friend) at Jillian's (now Dave and Buster's) a few years ago. I made a police report that time.
