Why NWR?

Why do you post here? Why do you come back?

Just trying to wake up the board a bit!

I just don't feel like talking about my wedding every day.

And I enjoy reading Palebride's posts and your posts

Re: Why NWR?

b/c i'm done with my wedding, there's just so much I can say about being a newlywed, and I'm the ultimate procrastinator, so NWR and NFR work well for me!

WORD!! I'm all lazy and indecisive about my wedding planning. I mean we have the church and hall and the date set, and Mr Boots and I will both show up... but isn't that enough?!

I wish that could be the case! I used to be on the brides boards more often, but being on NWR is just FUN. I like reading things that make me laugh out loud. Wedding planning is just work.

Because NWR is also non-work related, so it's a good way to pass away the hours from 9-5!

Re: Why NWR?

I check in here often because I am stuck in Lubbock Texas for 6 weeks and have nothing else to do except count the days until I am back on Long Island.

Days left in hell: 10

Why NWR?

Why the heck not?

Some reasons: killing time, having a laugh, checking in on folks I've gotten to like, and counteracting homesickness. (Recently moved away from the east coast and am rather enjoying the pangs of nostalgia brought about by NY-related discussions. Note: when and if you leave New York, even people's crabbiness about traffic on the LIE or Jericho Turnpike reminds you of the 'good old days.' )
