Why # the RSVP cards??

Because people may not write their names on the card leaving you to wonder who the heck it's from...

Use invisible ink pen or just write a small number on the back - doubt they'll notice.

Yeah, this helped me out quite a bit. I just wrote it in pencil on the back very small. No one noticed.

I used invisible pens to put #s on the back and I'm glad I did. I already got 2 with no names and they rsvped no so it helped to find who they were.

I would highly recommend this - you'd be surprised how many people don't think they have to write their name on the card I numbered mine on the back bottom corner and no one even noticed.

I'm using invisible ink pens to number that, that way if someone doesn't write their name in, I'll be able to tell who it was from.

I'm using the invisible ink pens, that way if someone is number 200 or something, they don't get mad that they are on the bottom of the list (although our list is in the order that we got peoples' addresses...)

This was a saving grace! We did this on the envelope back corner. Most people didn't notice. Some people we couldn't read their names and some people actually didn't even send the card back (which is why we did the envelope).
