did they add nameS? do you know who the 3rd person is?

Nip that in the BUTT Miaa. (Have to add two a's or I'll get ***!) Call them up and say, I only have room for you and guest, not a third person, I wish I could allow but unfortunately, I just don't have the room.

This hasn't happened to me yet but it might!

my uncle did that to me lol- my fh and i took a break and when his daughter got married- i put the 2 of us- and he called me up and said exactly what yuo said lol-

funnnnnnnny- it was proper he was honest and he tried to hook me up wiht another man lol!!!
anyway ovi that didn't work.

I had a few people do that - add a guest when they were invited single, or assume their 5 yr. old was invited.
The best advice I ever got -- be sweet and humble ' I am so glad you can make it. I am so sorry if the invitation/response card was not clear. I wish I could invite everyone with a guest (or children) but our physical space and budget does not allow for it. I hope you understand'. The two people who added guests felt very stupid and appologized (they are very single and knew other single people who were going -- we only invited people with a guest if they were in a relationship or really wouldn't know anyone at all).

OMG...what is going on.
I had a few people do that to FMIL for my shower.....I hope it doesn't happen for wedding. It hasn't yet.

I have only gotten like 12 responses back and 2 people did this!!! One i invited single and she put 3!!!!!!!

The other person was invited single and put 2..

Both people did not list any other names besides their own.. like they were trying to slip it past me.

It happened so often that DH and I made an agreement that if it was his guest he had to call and if it was mine I had to call.

It is actually my cousin and I was nice enough to invite him with a date because he just started dating someone, this side of my family lives in North Carolina, I am just like who is the third person?!?!?!? I don't think she has a child and if she did are they crazy?! lol my mom is calling them tomorrow she was even freaking out like what??? First off they were a no by word of mouth to my mom and now i got the reply yes soo i am confused!
