My friend and I got in a big fight today over the RSVP card.
Duc: Do I have to send the card in, you know I am coming? Me: Yes Duc: But I am in Texas Me: You will be home this weekend for Jay's (my FHs) bachelor party Duc: But I don't have time Me: Mail it from Atlantic City, I don't care. Hell stick it in an envelope and hand it to FH. Just get the stupid card to me. Duc: But you know I am coming, why do I have to bother. Me: Because your not officially coming until you send it. Duc: But I am coming Me: If you don't send it you are disinvited!!!
Why can't people just send in the damn RSVP cards.

Re: Why won't they just return the cards
I totally hear you FH keeps telling me to put people as 'yes' even though they haven't sent the card back yet and I refuse to do so until it comes back!

Re: Why won't they just return the cards
People keep calling FMIL to RSVP for the wedding and occasionally she would forget whether they were RSVPing for the wedding or the e-party or both just mail back the darn cards!!! Less effort than a phone call!

Re: Why won't they just return the cards
I know this is sooo annoying. For, me the worst is that our RSVP date was June 1st. We call people to see if they are coming yet... and they say I dont know yet!!!!!!!!!!! UGH how rude.. u are either coming or not!

I totally had that same conversation with my BIL. Now that he is engaged when I get the invitation I am going to give him a little taste of this own medicine.

This is the most frustrating thing EVER! I think I had that exact conversation with one of my friends and he still never returned the card!
