whyy

are fh and i fighting so much lately?? less than 2 weeks, we just moved, and we just keep getting into fights.

is this normal right before the wedding? I feel like I'm crying every day.

Moving in together is a huge change. You guys are probably just stressed, Maybe take a night to go out to dinner or for a drink and make it a wedding free zone.

no we have lived together for a year. we just moved into a new place...i know he's stressed because he lost his job in Feb and he just started real estate which isn't a salary job. soo money is extra tight.

we're not even fighting over wedding stuff...i dont know what is going on. it's never like this, and i just want us to be back to 'us.'

but that is a good idea...maybe we will go out tonight and try to relax and destress. thanks!

I can completely relate to that and I've lived with my FH for over a year and a half.

Wedding planning is definitely stressful and especially in the last weeks before the big day! Little things that haven't been a big deal can suddenly seem overwhelming, thus starting nonsense fights, and I think that's pretty normal at this point in time.

If you can, try to do something not related to the wedding at all, something that the two of you enjoy to do together to make you reconnect with one another. It's so easy to get bogged down, but don't let it get to you too much - keep thinking of the honeymoon

Totally normal. I've lived with DH for almost four years, but I wanted to rip his head off the month before the wedding.

Re: whyy

it happened to us, but FH was able to have an entire weekend off by chance of his schedule....

we didn't leave the apartment ONCE. we stayed home, went to the pool at our complex for a few hours, read together, watched movies, cooked dinner, *other things*, played a video game, played with our cats.

I feel like that totally re-vamped our relationship. I highly recommend the veggie out.

This sounds like exactly what we need!!!!!!! Thank you!!

Oh, and the fighting isn't about moving in together. We have lived together for over a year. We actually didn't fight a lot when we first moved in. It was a smooth transition...I guess it's just stress and money stress. He just wrote me a really nice email..so i think today we do a veg out night!!! movies and home cooked dinner and cuddles! :)

yea, a really good plus with the vegging out is you're not out spending money.

Re: whyy

Its so normal. We usually barely fight... but the last two weeks and every single night we were literally at each others throats fighting over anything and everything. we just guessing its happening because there are/were two weeks to the wedding

Ahhh I read that wrong sorry. But that is still a lot to have going on... Moving is a pain, all of the little details of the wedding... you guys may not be fighting about wedding stuff but having so much going on can make the stress of it all can manifest in different ways. And money is like the numero uno thing that causes people to stress/fight. But definitely take some time tonight to do something out of the house away from wedding things. Even a drive downt to the water can be nice.

Re: whyy

FH and I constantly fight....he's always telling me I'm having meltdowns, but I think that's because he's from this waspy family that never raises their voices at all, and I'm from this loud, boisterous Irish-German-Italian family who yell and hoot and holler in front of everyone.

The wedding planning definitely has caused a lot of stress between FH and I. I really can't wait till it's all over and I don't have to hear him ask for lobster for the dinner anymore.
