This was just announced on Fox5 news. Please give, Even if it is just a small amount it all adds up. They initally give 10,000 to each family and also help through the coming years, set up college funds for the kids, etc.

...that alot of large companies offer 'Matching Gift Programs', where they will contribute a dollar for dollar amount to a cause based on what money employees contribute. My husband is a firefighter and I am looking into starting a fund at my company. I know that someone else in my department was successful with a similar fund for a different cause in the Spring. It may be worth seeing if your company does this or even if they are willing to do it simply because they are approached. The worst they could say is no and it`s an opportunity to collect a larger amount of money for all these devastated families.
