Wild Hibiscus Flower in champagne (xpost 2010)

Did anyone see Rich Bride Poor Bride last night?? The bride had such a cute idea...there are these things (pebbles or something) that you put in the bottom of a champagne glass and then this Hibiscus flower grows! Has anyone heard of this or tried it??? It looked like such a cute idea!! I looked it up last night (of course, lol) and it comes in a jar of 50 flowers for $35...hmmmmm My FH would kill me if I spent anymore $$ lol

ps its called Wild Hibiscus Flower in syrup

does anyone know if that'll change the flavor of the champagne when added?

WOW that's cool!!

Never heard of it before.

I don't think the price is that bad AT ALL actually. People pay more for that to put light up ice cubes in drinks.

It's DEF something your guests will be wow'd about and they will DEF remember it!!!!

I say go for it!!!

it's also a cute idea for a new years party, dinner party, celebratory party, etc.

that's so sick!!!!
I think it would get expensive if you wanted to keep it going all night but if you use it for a signature drink it's great!
