My FI and I just booked Wild Rose Video!!!! Marie & Bill were so great! No pressure to book on the spot, no annoying calls, just an awesome experience. I want to thank all you girls who highly praised them. Their work is unbelievable and they are so down to earth.
Wow, only 101 days to go!!! I can't wait! Lisa 10-13-02
Now if I could just find a limo company. Any suggestions?

Re: Wild Rose Video
Welcome to another Wild Rose Bride. We should all have a video night after the weddings. I am 11/2/02.
I booked M&V Limo in Smithtown. They are fair priced, have beautiful cars, good reputation and customer service. I got a 24 passengar Escalade, 10 passenger Lincoln and a 1920 Madam X.

Re: Wild Rose Video
What package did you get? I got one camera coverage through out the day, and added on getting ready coverage.

Re: Wild Rose Video
We booked with All Star Limos. They came highly recommended by friends of ours who used them for their wedding.

Re: Wild Rose Video
Wild Rose starts at about $1400 (I booked over a year ago so I don't know current prices). Even at their lowest package you still get a full day of coverage, an editted video etc...

Re: Wild Rose Video
I was just wondering if their prices are the norm? I really want the two camera option, but it costs close to 3K! And the pricing breakdown was a little unexpected. I love them to pieces, but want to make sure they are comperable to others. Any advice/comments?

Re: Wild Rose Video
I think that they may be a little more expensive than some lesser-quality videographers, but that stands to reason. You get what you pay for, and they are certainly worth every cent. If you want to spend less on video, you certainly can, but you have to realize that you won't get the kind of video that you will get from Wild Rose.
I suggest that you go for the package that you can afford with Wild Rose.
(I'm a big fan of them if you didn't notice)

Re: Wild Rose Video
They are located in Islip. I highly suggest calling and scheduling an appointment!! (631) 224-7723
When you set up an appointment, they are going to show you real wedding videos. I was actually crying like a baby the video was so beautiful. The cameras are handheld and low light. You don't have to worry about being blinded by the light.
My FI and I decided to go with the Red Rose, which is the middle package. This is the package that includes the DVD, 3 VHS copies, and single camera coverage for the whole day, starting at the ceremony then for formals (beach, park, etc) then to the reception.
Depending on my church, I may add a second camera at the ceremony. Some churches are very strict with letting anyone up on the alter.
I hope I helped some of you out. Best of Luck!! Only 95 days!!!

Re: Wild Rose Video
They work out of their house so you must call first. I am not sure where they are now (they have moved since I was there). Just email Maire (she is the best) or call them.
I will also add that I met with 6-7 other video companies before booking Wild Rose. You can find cheaper and you can find more expensive. I found them to be the best price for a high quality, no-chessy, great sound, great editing, creative video. Also Marie has helped me with other stuff for my wedding. She found me my band, gives me advise when I need it etc...Wonderful vendor to deal with.
