i had 1 that came with my dress and i put my makeup in it for touchups during the reception.
i kept it in the bridal suite.
so it really wasnt necessary to have one... any old bag would have done the job!

no you dont, ask ur bridal attendant to hold ur wallet, checkbook and such. Ask your FH to carry the tip evelopes.
Just have a money bag though 'cus I had 100 envelopes shoved at me and luckily my MIL gave me a white card bag so I had somewhere to put everything! And not get up and put it in the cardbox everytime! :D

I had my purse in the front row of the church for any emergency needs during the ceremony, so everything was in one spot for my BM to grab. (I have been quite ill and I needed my inhaler and tissues in case I began bleeding again. Fortunately, I didn't bleed til the reception.) But as you see, we all need different things. I also had tic-tacs in there for the BP to share, along with powder and lipstick for touch ups.

i got a custom made one that matched...and had the matching beadwork on it....some ppl say its a headache but oh well, ur choice!!

I had one and I loved my purse. I kept it at my table with lipstick and a mirror and did touch ups after eating. I heard a lot of brides regret not re-applying lipstick, so I did it throughout the night when I remembered. I was glad I did.

my mom made me a great one, in simple ivory organza that matched my dress. It was a draw-string type and I was able to carry all checks, tips, mints, floss, tissues, make-up in it and had it in my sight too.

Ladies be really careful with leaving things in the bridal suite b/c my girlfriend was a bridesmaid at Timber Point and left her purse in the bridal suite. Someone stole money from her wallet and a few of the wedding cards.

My cousin also had cards stolen out of the bridal suite when he got married the first time. I'll probably carry a purse.
