Will limo companies give you quotes over the phone?
Basically, I went to one appointment with a Limo company, and know which cars we are looking for - can I just get quotes over the phone from other limo companies, or do I have to see them as well? I figured this was unlike having to make appointments for bands or florists, I figured one Lincoln is just like the other? Let me know if I've got it all wrong here! Any suggestions would be appreciated - thanks!

i don't think going there is that important, but at the same token u should want to know the type of people ur dealing with, but the limo company i'm using sent me a quote via email the next day.... try them'TriStarLimo' but like u said one' lincoln is like another 'so u can pretty much use any company, the price for a lincoln shouldn't change too much good luck

I think that going there is extremely important. I was talking to this one vendor on the phone and they were sooo nice and their prices were very reasonable, but not CHEAP, so I figured I would go and look at the cars, just as a formality. I already had it in my mind that I would book them b/c the cars looked so nice on line and they said they were all new and stuff like that. WELL, when I went there most of the cars had scratches and dents on them and the insides had tears and they smelled really bad...like stale cigarettes and god only knows what else. So, I was glad that I went there.
If you go on limos.com, you can get quotes from all different limo companies then decide which ones have the prices you are looking for then go see the cars.

I would also suggest going to see the cars before you book. But getting quotes prior to that will cut out those who are out of your price range and therefore a waste of your time.

You'll obviously ahve to go to the place to book the limos...you can check out the cars then...but otherwise, get quotes via telephone/email to price and compare.

Also wanted to add, I booked my limos over the phone. They then mailed me a contract and I mailed it back to them with money and I ended up with the best limo company ever! Sir Oliver gave me a stratch hummer and a 10 person limo when I only asked for two 8 person limos! Unbelieveably perfect!

some will - i was able to get quotes over the phone (although many were very rude) i love my limo company they've been so great their alexis limos in carle place i would suggest calling them even just to get a quote. i met them at a show and booked them a few days after. FM if you want more info.
i would say call around - the worst they can do is say no and hangup.
ETA: i booked them over the phone and they mailed me my contract!

me too...they are so nice over there...I booked them and I actually never went down there...I did everything over the phone...I actually saw the limos 1st on the road...and 2nd at a showcase
