I had makeup trials with half the makeup artists in ny lol. anyway I picked mine now my girls want me to pick theirs. if I pick one of the girls I did a trial with. will they get offended? like oh you don't want to use me, but use me for your girls?
fh made a comment joking saying they'd get offended so now i'm all paranoid. I don't even know how to ask, do I just email saying I want to use you for my bridesmaids? I really don't want to have to use someone I have never met before. plus one of the girls did a really great job. (the one I am thinking of using for my girls)
did anyone else do this? have 2 different makeup artists? my girls can't afford mine! I have no idea what to do.

I don't know if they would feel offended, but it could be uncomfortable if everyone is getting ready at the same place and you are there with your makeup artist and the 'rejected' makeup artist is doing you girls' faces. I would just have the MOH call up one of the makeup artists that you liked but ultimately did not choose and have her tell the makeup artist that 'Bride went with a makeup artist that is a bit out of our budget but she really liked your work and recommended you to us, her bridal party.' Maybe the girls could all get ready at MOH's place or if you are all going to be in the same place, maybe your makeup artist can come early, before the other one arrives, or vice versa?

we're all going to get ready at the same place. maybe I'll tell my moh though to do that, email her at least.

i dont think they will be offended...and don't worry about it...you need to go where you feel most happy so dont worry....would you rather use someone you dont like as to not offend them or look amazing on your wedding day...

I really wanna use this one makeup artist on the island who I had a trial with. I probably will use her for the rehearsal dinner too (I want my makeup done for everything lol) I just don't want her to be like oh but I'm not good enough for your actual wedding or something.
