Would love to hear how you all have asked your bridal party to be part of your special day ? We were thinking of asking them at our engagement party... maybe handing out T-shirts that say team bride team groom. Not sure...

I bought my girls matching bracelets on Etsy. We are having a nautical theme so I got rope bracelets in my wedding color with a beachy charm (anchors for MOHs and starfish for BMs) hanging off. I put the bracelet box in a larger box with sand and some shells and such in it. I only asked one girl so far last weekend and the rest will be this weekend :)
For the guys, my FH ordered custom beer bottle labels (also from Etsy) and will be giving each a 6pack with 1 of the bottles specially labeled.

I didn't take a picture but it was a box with a ring pop in it, and a card that said now it's my turn to pop the question. I already gave it to my cousin who is my maid of honor. She lives in Florida but happened to be visiting the day after I got engaged so I gave it to her then. My other bridesmaids will get theirs when I see them.

you can see in my album. for the groomsmen we gave cigars/chocolate cigars to the younger guys. for the ladies I did nailpolish with a 'wedding' name a ring pop and a small bow necklace & card.

For mine I made little bouquets in the color I want my flowers put them in a vase with blue stones to look like water. Then tied a ribbon with a little diamond ring and a tag that asked with a little phrase on it.

I made a little gift bag.... Card with embellishments from Etsy, Hand made my own 'glitter' champagne glasses, mini champagne bottles, mini manicure/pedicure set with Essie nail polish 'happily ever after', a little notebook with their initials.

This is what I did too. I have pictures up in one of my albums. For one of my MOH, I had AppleBees bring out an extra tray during dessert that said 'Will you be my maid of honor?' in fudge. It took her completely by surprise!

I mailed each girl a 'Will you be my bridesmaid?' card. I have one long distance bm and wanted to ask them all the same way, so that was my best option! I ordered the cards from Etsy and all of the girls loved them.

I made (most of) my bridal party hinged photo frames with a special note on one side and a photo of me and the girl (the older the photo the more fun and interesting). My FSIL got a single frame with a poem because we don't have a picture of us together. Girls can replace the message with a photo of us from the wedding. *pics in album*

I used old school snail mail and hand wrote a nice card for them with memories through out our life together and then asked them each at the end of the note.

I asked them via phone except my MOH who I asked when we went out for our monthly dinner. Then I took them out to dinner and gave them homemade wine glasses and a bottle of wine with a card that said 'thanks for being my Bridesmaid/MOH'
