Will you be doing a receivng line after the ceremony?

Since I am a RH ceremony bride I am not sure about this one yet!!

I am at a church...but will do a recieving line at the doors as people exit.

We are having a church ceremony but most likely we will. Our ceremony is going to be friday late afternoon so we dont think that all the people we invited are going to make it so it shouldnt be too bad

We will not be doing this. FMIL isn't too happy but I don't want to waste time. We will see about 95% of the people at the hall anyway. So we won't be doing it.

I think just me and Larry.. bc I would want my mom, but Larry's parents are divorced and hate eachother with a passion and his mom can be a bit of a psycho so, I'd rather not have her on my receiving line.. Just Us

Nope, we're not doing it. We getting married at the RH so I'm not sure how that would work anyway.

I got married at my hall and did not do a receiving line. I went around and said hello to all my guests during my cocktail hour

yeah I was discouraged by the BH because it will cut into cocktail hour...

Ditto for me too. . . .

But we are only going to do me and FH and our parents to keep things moving.... we only 45 minutes til the end of the ceremony to the cocktail hour! EEK!!!

Some people include their bridal party and/or grandparents in the receiving line. we are not.

We're going to do it in an attempt to be able to say our hellos...thank yous.....blah blah blah ...then this way we are not taking as much away from the reception!!
