We're taking pics at the church and then at the RH so we'll be able to go to part of it. What about everyone else?

We are not. I'll be taking pics for half and spend the rest in the bridal salon with bridal party.

this is what we plan on doing also. FH is really looking forward to being announced and having everyone seeing us for the first time after the ceremony then...he's such a sap about this wedding stuff

If the church starts and ends on time, we should be able to make part of the CH, but if the church starts late, then it's going to be a tight squeeze to get photos done. Even if we finish photos early, we just opt for some quiet time in the Bridal Suite and eat there...I'm all for making a dramatic entrance into the main dining hall!

yes we are going. we are taking in between pics so that hopefully after church we can go straight there and have 2 hours to take our pictures at the rh.

I think so. We've planned enough time in between church and CH for pics and even family pics at the RH. Our photog said to go to Ch and people will give you your cards and then you can enjoy the reception. So I think we'll do that.

i will be there we are taking some pics but they wont really intrude with the CH I want to see how everything looks and taste the food

our plan is to be there for all of it...we hope to be finished with pics at that time and be able to attend

Hell yes we're going! We're doing all of the pics beforehand. They can still announce us at the beginning of the reception.

we are taking a handful of pics at the church b/c the outside of my church is INSANELY gorgeous.

we are stopping quickly at cannonball park under the verrazano bridge for a few more

but the majority of the pics will be at the RH b/c their grounds are so fabulous

we are taking pics before our ceremony

after the ceremony we'll probably do a few more pictures....then FH and I will sneak off to the bridal suite to have a few minutes of alone time...

then we will go to the CH which we extended - so it will be 1 1/2 hours long.....we did this for two reasons - to give ourselves more time so we can enjoy it too AND so that guests arriving late (our wedding is a friday night) wont miss the entire CH its 6:30 to 8

then we will sneak out 15 mins before its over so we can get ready for our entrance into the reception......we'll probably be in in the CH room for 45 out of the 90 minutes....

Once again I could be wrong, but isnt the bride, groom & bridal party have their own little CH & they dotn show up until the grand entrance ????

Thats what I thought, even though Id love to be at my CH :)

I was under the same impression. Plus this is probably the only time we'll have to unwind, spend some one on one time on our special day together, as well as relax for the entire night (I plan on being on the dancefloor all night lol). Also, I like the whole idea of the Grand entrance, and not having the guests see me after the ceremony...adds a little more excitement to it

I might be there for a half hour...it depends if I feel we took enough pictures of us and the bridal party.

yes definitely! We paid too much to hide during it. We plan on using that time to say hello to everyone.

I don't think there are any rules. it's whatever you and FH want to do. ;)
