Any ideas as to how to ask your bridesmaids to be in the bridal party? I know there are probably so many posts on this but i want something cute and different. Any ideas girls?????

there was a post on here with will you be my bridesmaids cards in a package with pretty cookies in the shape of a dress, it looked cute.
i madea gift bag up and put a poem in asking htem tobe my birdesmaids the poem was frammed in a friends picture frame ...i aslo put a flower in each bag ... the flower is the flower i am using at my wedding!!

I handed out yellow roses with a card that said will you be my bridesmaid...the cards had letters inside that were written specifically for each girl

I have not asked my BM's yet but I want to surprise them (they kinda already know they are going to be in my wedding ) by mailing them t-shirts saying on the front Bridesmaid and on the back their name designed with crystals. And I want to include a card saying will you be my BH or maybe I will send them one of those designer cookies that say Will you be my BM?
i made little bags and decorated them...and filled the bags with supplies like: notebooks, pens, manicure kit, chocolate, and ASPRIN!
i also printed out a pretty poem on some hall mark stationery, officially asking them to be a BM/MOH.
here's the poem:
You welcomed me with open arms When I was strange and new. A smile so warm and so sincere, Caring, trusting and true.
A friendship would blossom With each passing day. Growing stronger and brighter In many a way.
Engaged am I now To be married at last. And for you, Denise, I have A special question to ask.

is it rude to give them one of those guides to being a bridesmaid books? I'll be the first getting married out of my friends and they really don't know what to do!

I gave these out with a poem
i was picking between both of those books too! i went with the second one.
in a bag w/tissue paper...i put in the book and made a scrapbook photo album that had a poem in it for each girl (i combined lines from poems i liked online etc) and then at the end put will you... be my bridesmaid.
pics are in my album. fyi...i took pics before the books were completely finished and then forgot to take pics when i was done...then gave them out so i cant take updated pics!

i dont think its rude. i originally was going to do that but i went a more sappy route....i couldnt decide which guide was the 'best'

I don't know. I was thinking of basically what MJDOC did and adding one of those books with some good ideas for the girls.

I used the will you be my bridesmaid cookies too....the girls loved them I also made them each a scrapbook and gave them a tank top that said bridesmaid on it.

Where did you get the cookies? They are sooo cute! I already asked my posse but I would love to do something special for them at the engagement party!
