Will you wait till the 'SAFE' 3 month mark to tell family/friends?
I'm undecided......who will you tell before the 3 month mark? I don't know if I want to tell my family and friends......

for friends i dont see too often, i will most likely wait ... for the ones i see often, i will TRY not to tell, but i can foresee that being VERY difficult!!

I think we will tell our parents and siblings at around 6-8 weeks. Everyone else after the 3 month mark. If (God forbid) anything happened before the 3 month mark, I would want my mother's support.

I can see telling our parents and very close friends as soon as we knew. G-d forbid something went wrong, these are the people that I would want comfort from anyway - so it's ok if they knew early on.

I'll probably wait the 3 months before telling people. I may even wait 3 months to tell my mother! She doesn't keep secrets very well

since Ive gotten my positve result from the hpt Ive only told 5 people my close friends and sil and bil becuase I see them very often and I know that I couldnt keep it in. I am planning to wait until the doctor confirms everything to tell my brother ( my mom and grandma passed away and he is my only close family) and possibly my inlaws. Everyone else will be at the 13wk mark.

We have only told our parents and really close friends (and LIW ladies). We'll tell our siblings in the next week or so. Other family and friends will find out around Thanksgiving. I will about 14 weeks then.

Yes, because I'm 'at risk' and I don't want to tell people I miscarried or it was etopic, etc. (altho i'm not yet)

I think that we would'nt wait with our families, but we would wait the 3 months with friends... anyway, my good friends are in another country and DH's good friends are in another state so it would'nt be that difficult.

When I do get preggo, I'd want t tell my mom so she could help me through it, so i MAY tell her and only her, but other than that, NO ONE. I've seen my sister go through miscarriages and I don't want to tell everyone and have them ask, etc and then have to tell everyone the bad news if god forbid there is some. miscarriages are so common, and god forbid it did happen, it would be so painful, I don't think I'd want everyone knowing. After 3 months, when most of that danger is over, I could have a big party and tell everyone!

We told out families right away and out closest friends. I want to share the news with everyone. we were both so excited. I waited to tell my work until about 3 months. Thanks goodness I wasn't sick so I could hide it from them.
