My mother and grandmother live in south florida. hopefully it will weaken before it hits!

They say this is the most intense Cat 5 hurricane on record.

this hurricane season is CRAZY!!!!!!!!

Ughhh!!! I'm expecting to get evacuated again this weekend (live in FL)

I hope it just dies down & falls apart!

well, check out the graphic above with the map.... doesn't look good. But it will seriously die down by then. we will probably get rain. but you should be fine for a week from Sunday

i just looked at it....dont mind me..I have been freaking out over rain since last week...
Looks like if we get rain, it will be on Monday...

I know a woman in Florida who is supposed to get married this weekend and she just had to postpone her wedding until Nov 26th. I feel awful for her!

if I lived in FL, I would get married between December and April. it doesn't get cold there anyway.

I am honestly scared. I took a meteorology class when I was in college and my teacher told us LI is long overdue for a category 5. He said everything south of Sunrise Highway could go underwater. Ever since then I am very afraid when there's a hurricane.

I just that he's wrong. There's no way we would all be able to evacuate.. I am very afraid.

Still haven't been hit by our first hurricane!!

My family all lives in Martin County (Stuart) just north of West Palm Beach. Last year the 2 major hurricanes made landfall in their town and my cousins house was destroyed. I am so worried about them. They are just getting back to normal.

no way... not with this one anyway. it's already weakened somewhat and as soon as it hits cooler air and water it will dissapate. we may get a lot of rain, but no cat 5!

Just keep your fingers crossed and a lot of
