Re: windows on the lake?
I had went there. The food was pretty good. The room was ok (wasn't crazy about the cheesy clouds on the ceiling). The outside cocktail hour is nice and they were in the process of picking out new carpet for the place. One thing I didn't care for was If you plan on getting married outside, you have to walk across the street to the lake which was kind of weird considering its kind of a main road.

My cousin got married there almost 3 yrs ago. They had their ceremony outside and you couldn't hear them exchange vows. The CH room was too crowded and I wound up eating in the lobby. The food was ok nothing to write home about. Have her check out the brentwood cc or meditraian manor.

Re: windows on the lake?
Everyone is very nice there, but I agree about the cheesy clouds on the ceiling that someone else mentioned and yes, there ceremony would be across the street, but the views are very pretty. It was the most affordable place we visited, so you can get a great deal. You should definitely go check it out though, everything is a bit outdated although i'm happy to hear they're replacing the carpeting, it was really old looking when i was there (2009).

The person we met with there was SO nice, unfortunately it seemed to me it needs a lot of work done to it.

Look into Mill Pond Country Club in Meford. That is where I got married. Price was great, place was nice, food was great, and service was amazing. HTH

I would pass on this one. I would not like the idea of having to walk across a street to have the ceremony, and have cars pass by. Even if they closed that street, there is a nearby street that you can still hear traffic. Also, there has been construction on the roads.

Re: windows on the lake?
I would pass as well...I went to look and was seriously considering it for a lil bit but then I tried the food and i was not impressed. It def needs a lot of work. The rooms are very 80's. The people there seem nice but I wouls say Nay!!

Re: windows on the lake?
I visited this place and the manager was almost 30 min late for our appointment......we decided to leave because we knew it wasnt for us espec after going to the place we booked we knew nothing would compare but went to two other places just because.
needless to say he arrived as we were leaving and I just told him its not for us and we didnt want to waste his time.
