Our windsheild was broken last night. Now we have a big crack in it. How much does it cost to replace it? This is our first car and us being city folk, have never dealt with this before. I know in the city they are going to charge a fortune, but we are willing to travel!
On Halloween last year I had kids hit out my drivers side window with marbles in paintball guns while I was driving. I called the insurance company and they said if I could pay out of pocket to do that, and not file the claim. We went to Safelite glass on Hempstead Tpke. We have a 2003 Pathfinder and I think it was around $200. FM for more contact info and the guy we dealt with.

Ours was 180- we found a place that came to our work and fixed it for us.. but this is in Jersey- but there have to be places like this on LI
Haverty Auto Glass will come to you to replace it. They replaced mine in my parking lot at work one day.
